Thought morals tutelage and legal foundation is a new course, which integrates the"program 98"of two courses of morals and ethics and legal basis on the basis of"the idea of reinforcing and improving the college political and theoretical subject made by public department and ministry of education of the Central Committee of the CPC"and its implemental spirit (hereinafter referred to as"Program 05"). Under new conditions, the teachers of the course of thought morals tutelage and legal foundation may face enormously challenge in the following questions on how to commendably open this course, to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and to deal with the teaching convergence. These questions must to be solved in the teaching process. Therefore, the teaching convergence between the course of thought morals tutelage and legal foundation and middle school political course is researched in this paper.Based on the basic components and characteristics of the course of thought morals tutelage and legal foundation and middle school political course, the paper discusses necessities on improving the teaching convergence from the teaching principles, actual effect of teaching as well as healthy development of the university students etc. As two interlocking phases of school moral education, the course of thought morals tutelage and legal foundation and middle school political course have many identities, such as the nature of curriculum, the goal, content and form of teaching. These factors provide probabilities for teaching convergence. Moreover, the issues and reasons of teaching convergence are also analyzed in ideology, teaching contents and goal and so on. Doing well the teaching convergence, the principle is the head. In order to improve the teaching convergence between the course of thought morals tutelage and legal foundation and middle school political course, we should adhere to the scientific and artistic principle, dominant and entity characteristic, as well as ordering and dynamic characteristic etc. In the end, based on theoretical research and practice, the countermeasures on how to deal with the teaching convergence are also proposed in ideology, teaching contents and methods, as well as management and evaluation systems etc.
