This research aims at one kind of remarkable differences of cognitive style in individual differences---named field cognitive styles.It takes the background by David Ausubel's meaningful theory of learning and the study on differential teaching by Chinese and foreign researchers through the ages,then carries out the primary exploration combining with the differential teaching and the field cognition."Mosaic Graph Examination Meter"is carried out to investigate the students which kind of cognitive style is.I can understand each student's cognition style though the conclusion of the questionnaire,however,combined with the interviewing method,the experience summarizes method,the method of inspection et.Though this I proposed some utilize teaching strategy in the teaching process in view of the different cognition type.Then integrating with the case-study approach and the analysis method,I hoped that can establish the foundation for the combination of field cognition and English differential teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one is to raise questions.This part describes the questions which exist to the current junior middle school in English teaching,and proposes that the difference teaching's necessity.It combines differential teaching with educational equity,shows that the individual difference is the rich teaching resources and it was the foundation on realizing the educational equity.Chapter two is a summary of the difference teaching.It contains the exposition of difference teaching concept,and a literature review of individual difference type and the domestic and foreign related differencial teaching research.It carries on the teaching for the following union field cognition to foreshadow.Chapter three presents an important cognitive style differences in individual differences,stratified into the progressive field of cognitive differences.It raises the different cognitive style,and describes the relationship between the field cognition styles,English study and the differential teaching.It lays the rationale for the following investigation. Chapter four transports the use cognition examination meter"Mosaic Graph Examination Meter"to carry,on the investigation to the students,by proving ground cognition difference and English studies whether is connected.And then I understand each student's type in examinational class.I summarizes some teaching strategies basis on the theory by this investigation,interview method, observation method and so on.Chapter five raises teaching strategy under the cognition styles.In this part I divide a class into preparing lessons,teaching and after class.Then according to the different characteristics of field cognitive styles,I proposed different teaching strategy in different stages,and attaches each type a typical case.It will unify the next research for the field cognition and the different teaching to lay the foundation.
