The Construction And Research On The Case Database Of Experiential Learning

With the experiential learning is getting widespread in the training domain, this learning style is getting popular among the learners, it request the learners experience actively, initiative inquisition and 'learning by doing'.This paper take "National teachers education technology capability training" as an instance. Through the investigation, finding that in the beginning of the experiential learning, we need abundant cases to support this process. These cases can help the students to understand the learning purpose and design their own activities. So, construct a case database on experiential learning to operate these resources has gradually become a necessary demand. Now, there are many resource databases on instruction, however, lots of them only focus on the classroom-based instruction, or just a knowledge collection. Therefore they cannot meet the requirement of the experiential learning; they cannot support this learning style effectively and give the learners sufficient assistance. So, design and construct a case database on the experiential learning is getting more important.This study concentrates on the construction and application of the case database on experiential learning. Through research on the identities of the experiential learning and the case instruction by documents research method, then get the criterion of the case. Propose the concrete solution and approaches to the experiential learning case resource database base on this criterion.This study main covers following parts: (1) research on the theoretical foundation, common modals, main process of the experiential learning and the importance of the case in this learning style, propose some common criterion of the case. (2) The design and accomplish of the case resource database system on experiential learning, Mainly including the ideas and theories of design, demand analysis, system structure, user's role analysis, function mode design and database design. (3) The realization of case resource database system on experiential learning. This system, based on B/S Web environment and with the technological solution of Asp.Net+SQL Server integrated, aims to realize the user roles and resources management, realize the basic functions, such as upload, download, browse and search of the resources, and the personal Zone of every single user. (4) According to the application, research on the learning modes by using this case resource database system on experiential learning.
