Living status is always the human society's pursuit. In recent years, Along with construct harmonious society, the domestic study attaches more and more attention to the special "disadvantaged group" among teachers. But there is almost no research of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers living status.The study used a method of combining the quantitative research and qualitative research, including five dimensions of the quality of leisure life; working environment; social status; professional development; the evaluation and pays. And this study developed the questionnaires about the temporarily employed kindergarten teachers' living status. An investigation to 320 kindergarten teachers under from the same running system in shanghai had been conducted by the survey. And the number of temporarily employed kindergarten teacher is 160; the number of formally employed kindergarten teacher is 160.By methods of Independent-Samples T test, One-Way ANOVA and half-open interview, deeply study and discuss about the temporarily employed teachers' living status.The study drew the following conclusions:Comparatively speaking, temporarily employed kindergarten teachers' living status is much different form formally employed kindergarten teachers'. Such as the quality of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers' leisure life is not good; the working climate and condition of them is hardly optimistic; the status of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers is low; the professional development of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers is very difficult and the income of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers is very low.In addition, this paper describes three main reasons of temporarily employed kindergarten teachers' living status. Such as social factor, educational and administrative department factor and temporarily employed kindergarten teachers' personal factor. And this study gives some reflections from existentialist philosophy's perspective. In a word, they are borderline teachers; they are invisible teachers and they are enclosed teachers.
