| 0bjective: To explores the effect of employing"cooperative learning"in volleyball teaching on college students'Learning Motivation and Performance of P.E. Method: Subjects are students of four classes attending the optional course of volleyball in Yangzhou College of Industrial Technology. Two classes are the experimental group; two classes are the control group. The content and the schedule of the two groups are just the same and the experiment lasts sixteen weeks. Whereas the control group still employs the traditional method, the experimental group uses"cooperative learning". The experiment uses some measuring instruments, namely sport learning motivation scale, Chinese College Students Mental Health Scale, Chinese College Students Social Adaptation Scale, Basic Psychological Need Scale, et al to examine the college students'psychological need,learning motivation,mental health,social adaptation as well as performance. Results: (1) The pretest showed that the T test for independent samples between the control group and the experimental group had no significant differences, that is, the two groups are homogeneous. (2) Cooperative learning as independent variable, data for pre-test as covariant, covariance analysis post-test data, found that cooperative learning made their autonomy and attribution need of the basic psychological need not significantly change, and capacity need to increase significantly; internal motivation, self-regulation and extrinsic motivation did not appear significant change, the level of amotivation significantly decreased; path analysis results showed that cooperative learning through satisfying the ability needs of students, thereby reducing the students'amotivation, improved student learning motivation.(3)Cooperative learning as independent variable, data for pre-test as covariant, covariance analysis post-test data, Fitness score significantly increased, only social withdrawal dimension of Chinese college students mental health scale score significantly decreased, only satisfaction dimension of Chinese college students social adaptation scale significantly increased as well as sports participation and athletic skills level significantly increased. (4) Correlation Analysis on Post-test data of learning motivation and learning performance, found that the level of amotivation and social withdrawal was significantly positive correlation, whereas, the physical quality, satisfaction, sports participation and the level of motor skill significantly negative correlation. (5) Path analysis of the effect of employing"cooperative learning"in volleyball teaching on college students'Learning Motivation and Performance, Cooperative learning by influencing the level of amotivation played impacts on the various dimensions of learning performance. Conclusion: Cooperative learning can improve female college students'learning volleyball sports motivation, whereas ability need play an moderator role; cooperative learning can improve female students'learning performance, whereas learning motivation played a moderator role. |
