Transmutation And Reconstruction: The Research On Social Integration Model Of "Community System"

Along with social structure transformation and economic system transition, traditional "units" system of social integration model tends to collapse. At the same time, the drastic changes of urban grass-roots community also have taken place; the structure of urban community is in the rapid process of differentiation, which results in the "home street" in an embarrassing predicament. Through the unit and the home street, the state carries on the top-down integration of administrative functions to gradually weaken. It must find a new model of integration to integrate the atomized individuals and fragmented society. Pointing to the down-top autonomous integration, "the community system" is constructed under this background. The paper considers the transformation of community resident's committee as a breakthrough point. After the organization transforms, how is its operational logic? How does community resident's committee as the main actor and the other community movers interactive? And how does it maintain reproduction of the social order through bottom-up integration? Through the inspection to the transformation of community resident's committee, it is discovered that the transformation finally falls into "involution" in spite of the new increased component and the new picture of the community; By analyzing the organization's operational logic , it is found that the organization has the dual operational logic after its transformation and this shows its plight as a "double agent"; Through analysis of community intermediary organization's operational logic and the revolution way, it is shown that the community intermediary organization is under the influences of the community two committees and follows the socialized operational logic under the administrative framwork and forms some kinds of partnership based on the resources exchanges and achieves the joint effort in realization bottom-up autonomous integration between them. Based on the above, the construction of "community system" is an arduous and long process. The government should be limited involvement of community practice and leaves more development space and authority so that it is advantageous to the community self-governing. Interactions between different actors in the field of community urge the community order to be in the restructuring process. Partnerships based on resource exchanges between them contribute to bottom-up autonomous social integration.
