Basing on the sociological theory, such as social stratification and social mobility, using the method of questionnaire survey and individual interview, and choosing the SuiZhou city in Hubei province as the investigation spots, this paper describes the characteristics of the willingness of job mobility of the primary and secondary school teachers in rural areas, and discusses the impact of the individual factors, family factors, job factors, school factors and social factors on the willingness of job mobility of the rural teacher in primary and secondary school. The conclusion shows that:First of all, the teacher of primary and secondary school in rural areas is more unstable currently; existence of "hidden loss" of the teacher is rather serious. The majority of teachers in rural primary and secondary school have willingness of change a school or an industry, especially to change an industry.Secondly, the tendency of the current occupational mobility of teachers in rural primary and secondary school is out-of-order and irrational. On the one hand, the direction of the job mobility of rural primary and secondary school teachers is mono-directional, most of the respondent show strong willingness of flowing upwards. On the other hand, lots of teachers who have willingness of job mobility are the core teacher of rural primary and secondary school, because they possess abundant human capital.Third, the ways of job mobility of the teachers in rural primary and secondary school are diversiform, vary along with occupational mobility tend. All the respondents whether to change shool or industry always tend to select the formal ways and informal social networks of job mobility. In addition, comparatively speaking, the teachers who have willingness to changing a school are more inclined to the way of institutional arrangements, while the teachers who have willingness to changing an industry are more tend to rely on formal ways.Finally, this paper shows that the factors of individual, family, job, school and society have influence on the willingness of job mobility of rural primary and secondary school teachers. The gender, age, education level and personal monthly income of the teachers; the workplace of teachers' spouse and the years of participating in the working as well personal training status; the location and students' number of school which respondent work in and the degree of outflow about the teachers in school ; the social status of the teachers' profession, the income gap between the urban and rural teachers; and so on; all have significant impact on the willingness of job mobility of the teachers in rural primary and secondary school. However, teacher's marital situations and family income of respondents have no significant impact on the willingness of job mobility of the teachers.
