This paper made use of a lot of methods for studies, including literature searching, the questionnaire survey, interviews, statistics and other mathematical methods, the status quo and mental health value of roller-skating were showed in the survey interview carrying out artistic roller's status on the ground in Dalian University. To increase the comparability, "participation" and "non-participation" who were elected to participate in skating movement were contrasted by the "SCL-90 SCL" factor at the statistics. In this experiment , we found relevance between roller sports and mental health of college students in composite and further analysis. As a means of a life-long physical exercise, Roller skating sport could improve the mental health of college students. Furtherly, it is of great significance to establish awareness of life-long sport .Also, it provides the basis and better reference for the creation of skating lessons and promotes development of skating movement in colleges and universities .The results as follows:1. Roller Skating can improve psychological health of the students, especially overcoming the psychological terror to ease the psychological anxiety of students and promoting the exchange among students, prominently reducing the role of hostility2. Although skating communities with the lack of school funding and other support are in a spontaneous state in the colleges and universities, they are still carried out betterly and developed conducively, mobilizing actively students to participate in physical exercise.3. Affected by the lack of roller-skating equipment and funds or traditional thought , Roller Skating in the universities is carried out ,not optimistically.
