Extra-curricular sports activities is physical exercises in the use of various methods for the purpose of leisure outside of curriculum to develop students' bodies, keep fitness and provide a rich cultural life for students. The school attached to Caoyang II responsed to the issue of "build a harmonious campus", raised by the state Department of Education, with a practical action of extra-curricular sports activities by building the sun sports culture on campus. This cultural sports activity is based on the national call, it wants to create a harmonious campus which is satisfied by students, parents and the society. Its factors include there kinds of culture. First is the students' culture of "Happy to learn, happy to grow", second is the teachers' culture of "Hard to learn, happily to grow ", third is the leadership culture of together" and "and" . They form a certain amount of sports and cultural patterns of activity. The building of Sunshine campus sports and culture is more attractive to students than the traditional extracurricular sports activities, it's an important measure to realize the law of sports and the exercise one hour a day. It helps to strong students' problem-analyzing and problem-solving skills, it can also promote the learners' social adaptability and innovation. In comparison to other school extra-curricular sports activities in Shanghai, the sports activities in The School Attached to Caoyang No.2 High School have obvious advantages in time arrangement, contents setting, organization form and guiding ideology. It also shows great effectiveness and efficiency, and is worthy of promotion. After summarizing the result of the sports activities in The School Attached to Caoyang No.2 High School, this paper provides some detailed measures to improve the model of campus sports and culture activities by analyzing the sports teachers' organization, students' active participation and school conditions.
