| The New Curriculum Reform of Basic Education maybe bring the crisis of competence in all aspects of teachers'work, such as classroom teaching, class management, researching, studying, etc., while it can offer an opportunity for improvement. No matter what the reform brings about, personal strength must be not enough, so, a team is indispensable to deal with difficulty and catch chance. As a back-up system, Jiaoyanzu become the darling of U.S. concern again. People pin great hopes upon Jiaoyanzu to promote teacher professional development and ensure student's development in all areas. A good idea does not equal a fact. How Jiaoyanzu activities live up to these expectations is an urgent thing. This study attempts to build an effective framework for conducting Jiaoyanzu activities, found on analyzing the case and advancing some action proposals.Focusing on the above-mentioned problem and according to the theoretical framework to build, this study is to explore the effectiveness of Jiaoyanzu activities in Micro-perspective through a questionnaire survey, interviews, observation field research approach to an English Jiaoyanzu in a primary school in Shanghai. The framework of this thesis research is broadly divided into the following sections: first, introduction, background and questions, purpose and meanings, methods and ideas of this study will be given a sketch. Subsequent chapter, an overview of the studies on the effectiveness of Jiaoyanzu activities, including experience and achievements, lacks and limits, countermeasures and suggestions. Chapter II focuses on four guarantee mechanisms of carrying out effective Jiaoyanzu activities: procedure, institution, culture and expert coaching. Chapter III is also the last part of the thesis with three smaller parts: First, the facts, including background of the school and the Jiaoyanzu, matter and manners, levels and types of the Jiaoyanzu activities. Second, the diagnostic analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of the Jiaoyanzu activities consist of lacks and limits, experience and achievements. The last is recommendations for improving action basing on fact-finding. |
