Professional competence of teachers and educational beliefs is to create high-quality continuous improvement of the important factors teachers。Practice with the conduct of national education, gradually improving the quality of teachers rely on external forces from the previous emphasis on teacher norms to self-development and external promotion of the unity of forces。The past two decades, emerged in the international field of educational research on teacher a very rich research and development to enhance the quality, of which teacher effectiveness theory is relatively fast and closely watched the development of the theory。Currently represented by the United States on teacher self-efficacy, education, beliefs, and the rise of theory has greatly enriched and improved the United States and other countries on the quality of teachers in the traditional theory of the structure。This paper theoretically and in practice from the side level in the United States introduced the teachers to the development and application performance to teacher effectiveness on the theory and practice of development of some inspiration and reference。Thesis is divided into six parts. The first chapter reviews the development of American history teacher efficacy theory context. The second chapter describes Rotter, Bandura, Goddard and several theoretical studies teacher efficacy United States representatives and their point of view. The third chapter summarizes and analyzes the nature of teacher efficacy, characteristics, model, theory of the United States overall teacher effectiveness analysis.The fourth chapter discusses the performance of teachers and school reform in the United States in the field of teacher professional development application. ChapterⅤanalyzes the impact of U.S. development of theory and practice of teacher efficacy factors. ChapterⅥsummarizes the various aspects of American teachers to explore efficacy theory, combined with theoretical study of the status of teacher effectiveness, come on to China.
