Moral emotion is an advanced affection for human only. It not only impacts on the development of individual ideology and morality as a component of individual moral character, but also plays a role in the moral education as human psychological factor. In the process of moral-practical, moral emotion, for it can guide the access to moral cognition, control the formation of moral behavior and strengthen the moral consciousness, becomes an important means of maintenance for social-moral order.Under the current moral education, although it always highlights the fact that we should not only educate people by the means of reasoning things out, but also by the means of appealing to their emotions in order to move them to action. However, during the specific research and practice of the relationship between reason and emotion, the emphasis is often on how to explaining the reasons, ignoring the influence of emotion. This can be reflected in two aspects. One is that it is generally considered that moral cognition is the leading factor in moral development, while moral emotion is only in the subordinate status of moral cognition. Such point of view results in an incomprehensive conclusion that educators can simply move the students by bringing out facts or reasoning things out. The other cause is that educators pay more attention to the effect of moral cognition to moral emotion, but undervalue the truth that moral emotion can also has a strong impact on moral cognition in turn. As a result, the existing moral education has an obvious tendency of rationality-only, which means it attaches importance to the indoctrination of rational principles but neglects the perceptual experience internalization. The imbalance of the real moral education practice, puts the school education in an inefficient and awkward situation. Moreover, it frustrates the formation of undergraduates' proper moral qualities.This paper, which adheres to the people-centered scientific concept of development, discussed the problem of moral emotion cultivation on college students. The paper is based on the analysis of current moral emotion situation in college students, making a comprehensive research on the cause of undergraduates' moral emotion problems from various aspects such as society, school and family. Furthermore, it presents some solutions for those problems mentioned above, which provides a useful thought to the quest for efficient means of college moral emotion cultivation.
