Is the formation of mathematical concept actually the teachers'imparting and the students'receiving or the students'own finding and constructing internal structure which is under the induction of the teacher in the relative situation? Based on the principles of Genetic Epistemology by Jean Piaget and taking the formation of the equivalent concept as example, the psychogenesis mechanism of the formation of children's mathematical concept will be discussed in the paper.First, Through the interview, we learned that the 7th old children got a low score in the equivalent problem solving which is under the symbolic context and the main resolution strategy was imitation which is mechanized and onenessful ,while getting a high score under the visual context and whose strategy is flexible and convenient . Based on this, the effective means of intervention, providing the visual context for children's operation, which promoting the formulation of the children's mathematical concept is summed up by the initial. And then, two contexts which are intuitive operation context and symbols explaining context are set up in this research, with the equivalent concept form for concrete matter, the experiment of the comparison of the teaching will be carried on under the two contexts. And it is found finally in this research that the course of mathematical concept formation is the course of children's operation for intuitive object and reflection and abstraction based on it ,but not the course of teachers'imparting and students'passive receiving and imitation.
