Research On Professionalization Of The Educators For The Community Youth In The New Period

With the deepening of the reforming and opening up policy, the educational issue of the community youth---------the special group of the youth,is prominent with each passing day, and which arose the concern of the society. Owning to the fact that the educational work for the community youth is at a primary phase and the relative training system is at a late development, while on the other hand ,there's a lack of professional knowledge, working experience and theories, so the professional quality and capability its educators acquire is really a worry. The inevitable outcome of the reality is that the overall professional level of the educators of the community youth is not high. Facing the complex social problems, many educators generally feel hard to handle with, because they are confined to the major and working experience and the unchangeable knowledge, habits, attitude formed in the daily life. The existing of the community youth has become an important factor affecting the normal order of the society. Social problem is inevitable when the old social system is fading and the new one has not been built steadily. Therefore, as an approach stabilizing the social order, social work is bound to be put forward as an agenda, and to cultivate the educators for community youth who meets the needs of the society has become top priority naturally.The paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction,which reveals the necessity of professional education of social work and its realistic significance through introducing the writer's learning and social practice experience.The second chapter is the theories and some relevant concept defining.The third chapter points out the problem facing the educator of community youth.The fourth chapter analyzes the reasons why the problem facing the educator of community youth are existed.The fifth chapter puts forward the development strategy of accelerating the professional education process of the community youth educators.Owing to the late development of the professionalization of social work and the rapid expansion of its scale, therefore, there's a serious lack of social workers who are engaged in educating community youth. It can serve as complementarities with school and family education by enhancing the education of community youth, thus reducing the social uncertainty at the root. On the course of pursuing the professional development for the community youth educators,we must find a way which suits to our national conditions,and continuing improve the professional quality of the community youth educators,so as to find an approach benefiting the growth of the community youth and truly alleviate the contradictory coming up in the process of social development and facilitate the harmonious development of the city.
