At present, China is in a period of dramatic social transformation, school education,which is an important part of the community, is also undergoing unprecedented change.Teachers are exposed to broader sources of stress and the types of pressure are also increasing. Especially the early basic education curriculum reform from the 90s in the last century, teachers undertaking the task of educating people generally had a heavier workload and professional sense of crisis, and that the work pressure has tend to become more aggravated and unreasonable.The heavy work stress can easily lead to a high degree of tension and anxiety and discomfort. In 2005, the Public Administration Organization and Human Resources Institute of Renmin University of China and the Sina Education Channel jointly launched the "Chinese teachers Occupational Stress and Mental Health." The survey questionnaires were posted at Sina.com , a total of 8,699 school teachers from the universities, high and primary schools filled out the questionnaire. The survey showed that 80% of the surveyed teachers felt great pressure,of which 3.46% of the teachers reflect the great deal of pressure , and 4.76% of which reflect the pressure of relatively large,indicating the vast majority of teachers are feeling the pressure is relatively large. Through literature review, we also found that although the research of current psychological pressure for the teachers in this area is quite hot,and there are a large quantity of literature researching on the teachers psychology,which has provided a lot of good advice for all the educators, these documents only give a number of their own views after a rough survey, and measurement and application of statistical methods are not applied enough in scientific psychology. On the basis of previous studies, this paper is intended to make up a comparative scientific survey for teachers to study the status of teachers, psychological pressure, causes and countermeasures systematically, using measurement and statistical methods in psychology, with the purpose of adding a cornerstone for the research of psychology of teachers in Zhangjiagang and providing some data and theoretical support for the general study of high school teachers, which is the general purpose of this paper.In this study, 535 high school teachers in Zhangjiagang were surveyed according to the self-compiled "psychological stress questionnaire to high school teachers",and we found that questionnaire contains a total of eight factors and has good reliability and validity. Through the statistics, we found the high school teachers in Zhangjiagang City have a higher overall level of psychological stress.The psychological stress of teachers of different gender has significant differences ; the work pressure , interpersonal stress of teachers of different age groups have significant differences; the work pressure,interpersonal pressure and the development pressure and so on of different schools have significant differences; the work pressure, interpersonal pressure, development pressure, family pressure, exam pressure and social pressure of different grades of teachers have great significant difference.The psychological pressure on third-grade teachers is significantly higher than the second-grade and first-grade teachers. The interpersonal stress of teachers of different titles has significant differences .
