Study On Model Of Chinese Men's Basketball Player's Successful Enter In NBA

With the establishment and development of the socialist market economy, Chinese competitive sports are in a reform and opening up process like any other sectors. Chinese basketball is on a professional drive. And Chinese basketball has made a great success in the area of marketization and commercialization during last ten years time. Recently, been influenced by the NBA global developing strategy and other related reasons, five Chinese basketball players:Yao Ming, Wang Zhizhi, Yi Jianlian, Sun Yue have entered and played for the league successfully. This sport talents "overseas flow" pattern has set a mark on the field of Chinese basketball professional reform progress and will raise the competitiveness of Chinese basketball. That is why we must analysis and summarize the model.Research methods of literature, expert interview, case investigation and logical analysis have been adopted in this essay to look back on the history of Chinese basketball players'enter into NBA League and to draw out comprehensive drives and reasons. This essay analyzed the four parts in model of Chinese sports talents overseas flow:the early planning and the talents reserves, the broker agency operation, effective management of basketball administration department, a sound commercial operation. And all the four parts are essential, and needs to be treated reasonably and effectively. After analyzing, this paper raised four pieces of rationalization proposal for Chinese basketball talents overseas development:1. Attach importance to the problem of players'early development, Try to orientate them towards a rational career plan, lead them to a higher levels of professional league.2. Diversify the form and means of players'"study abroad", seek for specialized help and cooperation from brokers.3. Policy support. Increase state supported "study abroad" to provide more chance for basketball talents to study abroad.4. Value later period development. Players must pay more attention to "study abroad" later period, brokers must help players to build a better image. By doing all these work, the author hopes to offer reference to Chinese basketball talents overseas development, and provide reference the future reform and development of Chinese basketball.
