Research On College Students Ideological And Political Education Carriers In The Context Of 3G

January 7,2009, the 3G licenses were awarded officially by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People's Republic of China, it means that China entries into the 3G era from then on. As the third-generation mobile communication technology,3G has the salient features of high-speed transmission of data, which overcomes the previous two generations of mobile communication technology. The advantages of 3G stimulate the integration between the Mobile Internet and the traditional Internet and the applications of the New Media. Productivity relations of production decision, the tremendous progress of information technology is not only changing the people's thoughts and ways of life, but also asking for higher demands on the ideological and political education work in this particular period of social transformation. Available data indicate that young people are the main users of the New Media in the context of 3G, and University is a place in which the New Media is widely used. The New Media in the context of 3G has brought new opportunities to the ideological and political education, at the same time it raised a new challenge. The Party and the Country attached great importance to the college students ideological and political education since the new century, we should know that we do gained a lot of achievements in this area, but there are also a lot of challenges for us to be faced. If we want to strengthen the ideological and political education, we must constantly adapt to the developing education environment.
