Icon is an important part of Interactive interface, and is an importantly interactive way among users and the system. The icons'design directly affects the cognition and interaction of icons. Therefore, based in the full analysis of users and related theories, it is necessary to strengthen the icon design, in order to scientific the process of icon design.At home and abroad, research on the icon has made some achievements; the theory of icons'cognitive function and factors is systematic, especially in the context of network. But the icon design is still not enough, some articles only research icon as an influential factor, there are no specific discussion; Network Learning System needs a higher, more specific icons'design because of its learning, but the research of icon design devoted in Network Learning System is very few. In view of this, research on icons of existing Networks Learning System and survey of icon design, in the inspection the icon design practice, the combination of icons and symbols of cognitive science interaction guidance, with emphasis on the learner's operation and psychological characteristics in Network learning system, we put out the process of icon design and test in practice.The details and organization of this thesis are as follows.The first chapter will first brief the background and significance of this study and discuss the current situation of the design and application of icon in internet-based learning system; then point out the necessity of this study; and lastly touch on the content and means of this study.Chapter 2 will first analyze the concept of icon under internet-based learning system and computer conditions; then classify and summarize the icon functions in man-computer interface, and lastly introduce the symbolism, which has a guiding significance in icon design process.Chapter 3 will take systematic analysis on current icon cognition theory and the basis process of human act and the factors at each stage in icon cognition process; and then proceed to make a detailed exposition of these factors applied in icon design process; and lastly point out the factors in the internet-based learning system in the light of related symbolism theory, which will directly guide the icon design process.Chapter 4 will generally state the design process and advance the design principles; and then discuss separately the demand analysis, design accomplishment, and test probation of icon design; and lastly delve further into the icon applicability in internet-based learning system and the icon design process in mobile internet-based learning system.Chapter 5 will describe the accomplishment process in a systematic way by comparing icon and word cognition. On the Basis of The Unreal Demonstrate Experiments of Physics in College, a guidance icon will be designed and testified in order to purify the design process.Chapter 6 will summarize the characteristics of icon design process in internet-based learning system and every possible connection among different systems. Finally present the result and originality and also the inadequacy of this thesis. This study has practical significance, as long as the interaction between human and computer become more easily, it can not only lighten memory burden and anxious degree of learners but also stimulate and keep the study zeal. It is hoped that the internet-based learning efficiency would be raised through the approach in this study, and it is also a great encouragement to the author if this approach can provide valuable reference to the development of man-computer interface.
