With the modernization process of accelerating, the speed and breadth of cultural transmission have an unprecedented development, which accelerated the exchange of different culture, it also changes on the national lifestyle a huge boost. The lifestyle is a mirror that can reflect the social reality, specific aspects, in this sense, for all ethnic groups, particularly vulnerable groups of rare ethnical groups of lifestyle changes will have important practical significance.The study takes the one of the rare ethnical groups in China of Baoan nationality for example, based on field survey, through interviews, observation, documentary research and other methods, to researching the social and cultural transmission patterns and lifestyle changes of baoan village. The thesis includes for chapters excepted introduction:The introduction includes research origin, significance, domestic and overseas research status, research methods, theory and survey point situation. The first chapter is to describe lifestyle transition of rare ethnical groups and social transformation. The second chapter from three aspects, which are media transmission pattern, social and cultural transmission pattern and school education pattern, to analyze the status and feature of the social and cultural transmission patterns about Bonan village. The third chapter shows the feature and the lifestyle transition of Bonan nationality, which is described from the following angles:the traditional means of livelihood change, changes in consumer lifestyles; changes in marriage and family life; religion lifestyle changes; changes in communication methods; leisure lifestyle changes. The forth chapter is to point out the problems that existing in the lifestyle transition, then finding out the resolving method.
