Composition teaching is an important part in Chinese teaching. While evaluation, an old and difficult problem of Chinese teaching, plays an important role in composition teaching. The traditional way of evaluation is teachers checking the composition for the students then explaining to the students. In the whole process, teachers plays the role of domination, while the students plays the role of obedience. In order to change this situation, we need to be determined to set up a new idea of composition teaching and give the power of evaluation to the students. In this way, the students can learn the advantages and avoid disadvantages from interactive evaluation and correction as well as imporving themselves. What's more, teachers can completely liberate from the heavy task of composition evaluation and they can have more time and energy to dedicate themselves into research of composition teaching as well as helping the students improve their ability of composition.This text which trys to explore the efficient way of composition evaluation, is in the background of reform of Chinese new curriculum and establishes in the current status of high school composition evaluation. This text also provides a superficial way for the composition evaluation that is in the bottleneck. What's more, it explores an efficient way for the high school composition evaluation. This text goes to demonstrate like the followings.The previous chapter is introduction. The purpose, the significance and way of high school Chinese evaluation research will be explained; the research results of composition evaluation from both home and abroad will be collected and classified; the questionnaire will be designed and the current status of high school composition evaluation will be analyzed.The second chapter explains the intension of high school composition evaluation. Firstly the content dimensions and evaluation dimensions of high school composition evaluation will be put emphasis on; secondly the composition evaluation with the functions of guidance, motivate, feedback and improvement will be discussed; at the end, the advantages and disadvantage of teachers'evaluation and students'evaluation in traditional composition evaluation will be analyzed.The third chapter, coming up with the strategies of optimizing high school composition evaluation, is the highlight of this text. Firstly, some concrete measures of developmental evaluations such as teacher-centered evaluation and correction, students'self-evaluation and group interactive evaluation and correction will be introduced based on the writer's practice. then the strategies of diversification in evaluation, individuality of language and layering of standard will be submitted. At the end, the principles and questions of composition evaluation will be explained.The forth chapter is conclusion. This text explains the intension which is beneficial for the developmental evaluation of high school composition. And it also makes sure that the direction of composition evaluation value is people-development. what's more, it ascertains the questions of high school composition developmental evaluation and explores the detailed ways of high school composition developmental evaluation. All the above adapt to the times of reform of new curriculum, and richen the content of high school composition evaluation research.
