The Investigation And Analysis Of Developing The Sunny Sports Movement In Urban Primary Schools Of Shangqiu City

In recent years, the constitution of youth in China is quite worrying. The short sight and obesity rate continues to increase, but some targets of physical functioning are declining year by year. These are related to lack t he essential sport. In accordance with realistic situation, to improve teen-agers'physical quality effectively, the national school meeting on physical education was convened for the first time since the founding of China on December 23, 2006. The great decision of carrying out "sunny sports movement" among millions of students was issued by the Ministry of Education, National Athletics Bureau and the Communist Youth League on December 20 ,2006 and started jointly around the country On April 29, 2007.Sunny sports movement sports take comprehensive implementation《The healthy standard of physical endowment of student》as a foundation, and combine with the physical education teaching, the extracurricular sport. The aim of the program is that students will do physical exercise for one hour every day, form a good habit of physical training, and improve physical health effectively.The research of this thesis adopts bibliography, questionnaire survey, survey and interview etc, understands and investigates the implementation of sunny sports movement in urban primary schools of Shangqiu City. This is a supplement and extension to previous status quo studies focused on large cities and secondary schools. The time of carrying out sunny sports movement is not long, so there are more problems. Primary intention of the thesis is to find out target-oriented and feasible measures for general character problems, and to popularize some good experiences. The investigation shows:1. The propaganda of sunny sports movement in many urban primary schools of Shangqiu City is not good. This has led to students not know enough about sunny sports movement. Testing and reporting work of《The healthy standard of physical endowment of student》is regular gradually. But Issuing sunny sports movement'medals is not good.2. Schools of achieving the number of country stipulated physical education are few, the main problem is in 1-2 grade, the situation of 3-6 grade is better. But P.E. classes are often occupied. The most of students have mastered 2 Exercise Skills. Students like sport very much, but P.E. classes are evaluated by them poorly.3. The extracurricular sport of urban primary schools in Shangqiu City is mainly concentrated between classes in the morning. Very few elementary students take exercise in early morning. 46.1% of all students take part in the extracurricular sport in the afternoon. Broadcast gymnastics and ocular gymnastics are done very good in nearly each school. Games, rope skipping and shuttlecock kicking are arranged in first 5 in the extracurricular sport. Other extracurricular sport is freely joined in by students except the broadcast gymnastics is organized by the school. Students can do exercise for one hour every day in the majority of schools, but exercise effect can not be guaranteed.4. Students of urban primary schools in Shangqiu City mainly learn after returning home from school. They mostly take part in training classes about learning and don't form the habit of physical exercise in holiday.5. Sports venues and equipment of urban primary schools in Shangqiu City are not too good. Sports funding has increased in varying degree, but the rate of increase for each school is very different since sunny sports movement. School Leaders in charge of sunny sports movement are provided well, but the system and organization are imperfect, don't form persistent system and is lack of sustainability.6. In urban primary schools of Shangqiu City, the whole of P.E. teachers equipment is good except the individual school. But P.E. teachers are not satisfied with their own work. Their on-the-job training is unsatisfactory. The competent department's supervision is not regular and systematic.7. In urban primary schools of Shangqiu City, the majority of schoolmates like sunny sports movement, P.E. teachers support sunny sports movement very much, but the teacher in charge of a class and parents don't attach importance to Children's exercise.Main suggestions on the basis of investigation and research are as follows: (1) to strengthen the propaganda of sunny sports movement through a variety of media; (2) to continue to establish perfectly monitoring the system of students'physical healthy and promulgate student's health status; (3) to strengthen continuously the implementation and monitoring of three type of sports equipment (the sandbag, the shuttlecock and skipping rope) that the student must have. (4) The content of sunny sports movement in primary schools should combine with interest and competitiveness. (5) to train P.E. teachers by the aid of the department of physical education of Shangqiu Teachers' College; (6) to enhance the proportion of school sports work and students' health status in supervision and Evaluation index system, and take it as an important basis for appraising the place and school work...
