Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Humanistic Education Of University Of Science And Engineering

While the disadvantages of traditional education is at the very beginning of its emergence and the quality education is booming, the phenomenon of paying more attention to science education than to humanity education in the Universities of Science and Engineering and the issue of the humanity education's weakness have become the hot topic in our society, which is also the important and challenging problem in the quality education reform. In this paper, the humanistic education in the technology universities is the research object. And based on the objective analysis of the relationship between the science education and the humanity education, the methods to nurture the universal geniuses with the scientific quality and humanities are proposed. Furthermore, this paper interprets the meaning, content, feature and the realistic meaning of the humanistic education in the universities of science and engineering. Through the investigation of the status on the humanistic education in the universities of science and engineering, the problems of the simple form and the shallow depth in the teaching of humanity and the deficiency in the field of educational knowledge are figured out universally. Based on the reflection of the educational thought and tradition in the universities of science and engineering, this paper finds out the answers to these problems and figures out that in order to solve the problems of humanity education in the universities of science and engineering, something must be done to seize the important historical opportunity when the government's strong support for quality education in humanities and university teaching reform is carried out. The measures to put the quality education in the humanities in the universities of science and engineering into action is not only to carry out the principle of goal-oriented, job feedback, and assessment of monitoring, but to deepen the reform in the management system, not only to reconstruct the teaching system of attaching equal importance in scientific quality and humanity, but to improve the teachers'human qualities, not only to exchanges the roles of the teachers and students, but to stimulate the desire for knowledge and the humanism of the educated, and besides, to create the campuses filled with humanistic atmosphere.
