With the development of society and technological progress, modern media which adopts advanced technology has been widely used in ideological and political education at universities. The traditional ideological and political education in campuses has been experiencing a changing period both in theory and idea.Ideological and political curriculum at universities is the main instrument to guide college students to erect socialistic world view, philosophy in life and value. Network used in it attracts attention for its convenience, vividness and grand message. Ideological and political curriculum represents the traditional ideological and political education while on-line ideological and political education stands for the modern media used in this field. This paper aims to make comparative study of curriculum and on-line learning of ideological and political education, make definite the relationship between these two methods and improve both methods by complementing each other. Through this study, we could increase the effect of ideological and political education under new situation, optimize allocation of ideological and political resource and realize the target of ideological and political education. This paper tries to discuss this topic from the following four aspects on basis of previous studies. Part one: Definitions of college ideological and political curriculum and network carrier.In this part, the main purpose is to explain the definitions and give a brief introduction of the two carriers.Part two: The meaning of comparative study of ideological and political curriculum and on-line ideological and political education. This part aims to discuss the meaning of comparative study of the two means which includes enriching the ideological and political education system in universities and strengthening the effect of these means.Part three: The relationship between college ideological and political curriculum and on-line study which makes clear the level of these two means.Part four: The thinking of positive interaction between curriculum and network in college ideological and political education. This part is the focus and difficult point of this paper. This part will propose suggestions for how to make the two means complementary on the basis of current situation of college ideological and political education.
