The traditional didactic teaching methods haven't keep abreast of the times yet .especially in the Chinese class which is so complicated, boring, stereotyped Chinese classrooms need to be infused new vitality to improve the student's interest, to optimize the teaching process, to promote the teaching proficiency. Therefore , teaching humor as the effective teaching methods meets this kind of need. so teachers won't be forced to give a lesson in low spirits any longer in order to finish the task. The students also won't go to class under great pressures. instead of this , teacher's mental pressures will be released tremendously , and they can create a harmonious atmosphere in the class , and the students will begin to study autonomically , to experience the joy of learning. This paper selects topic to carry out Chinese teaching research from a new angle , Humor is applied in Chinese language practice . And the initial effect of the practice have been received . I hope that I can share it with teachersThis paper adopt some method ,such as collecting documents and materials , class observation , interview and so on . First , it discusses the definition of humor in teaching , theoretical basis of humor and characteristics and so on .Then it draw a conclusion on the features and skills of Chinese teaching humor . Finally , it provide the proper solution to the problems about Chinese teaching process during the process of its implementation. This paper is divided into three parts :The first part is introduction, and briefly introduce the writing thoughts and research situations on teaching humor and so on . Secondly, It discusses the basic theories of Chinese teaching humor in elementary School. Such as definition of the related concepts, the basic theories of teaching humor , the structures of teaching humor , and the cause of laughing mechanism and so on . The fourth chapter ---as the most important part of the paper, consists in observing Chinese class teaching and collecting cases , and then classify the teaching humor of the Chinese class in elementary school in detail , sum up and organize the using skills .The fifth chapter gives a summary of the influences toward the teachers, students and the teaching atmosphere and so on .Finally , the author brings forward to relevant strategies according to the problems which exits in the processes on teaching humor ,and the prospects about the future of the teaching humor .
