"the Substance Structure and Property " may be the latest and the most abstract module of the new curriculum. It's helpful for students to further enrich the knowledge of substance structure and to improve the abilities of analyzing and solving problems. However, there isn't any in-depth study about the teaching status of " the Substance Structure and Property " module due to the teaching order of eletive modules. This paper just seek to make a further research about the teaching status of" the Substance Structure and Property " module through the investigation and analysis about the teaching status of< Atomic Structure and Properties >, the first chapter of PEP Elective 3. We hope these research conclusions can provide some help for the general teacher's teaching practice, simultaneously also provide some inspiration and reference for the further research.This paper altogether includes the following four sections:The first is the foreword. It gives a brief introduction to research background, research significance and research development situation. It also analyses the content of chapter 1 and then provides some recmmendations for the implementaion of the "Atomic Structure and Properties".The second mainly expounds the research ideas and methods, and describes the content, objects, ideas and tools of this research.The third is the main body of the study. It analysis the teaching status of chapter 1 based on the questionnaires and interviews, and then draws corresponding conclusions.The fourth is the conclusion and the enlightenment. It summaries the full text, and then obtains some enlightenment.
