In China, due to the growth of the number of years of compulsory education and national thirst for education, universities have seen the fast growth of normal students, as a result,a large number of new influx of secondary school teachers emerges all over the country. These teachers have to be grow mature engough to take responsibilities of teaching, management, research in three years and become the main body of teachers. Novice mathematics have to not only shoulder the responsibilty of mathematics education which is a key subject but also bear the pressure of being inexperienced in teaching as a new teacher. Their growth will have a directinfulence on the quality of future teachers.Through investigation and study to some novice teachers'work and learning in their first few years of the entry ot the work, this paper presents the difficulties or issues they face in common and propose appropriate countermeasures. Hope that it can be of some help to the growth of novice mathematics teachers.This study uses literature method, questionnaire, interview on the difficulties encountered by novice teachers, and the causes that generate these difficulties. Through research, I find that novice mathematics teachers are not faimilar with teaching materials , difficult to grasp main points and difficult points and inflexible in teaching methods. As a consequency, they find it difficult to moblize the enthusiasm of students and unable to answer the difficult questions raised by students. The main causes of the problems result from the design of the curriculum at normal universities the development environment after their entry to work.To solve these problems, the author point out three suggested measures: First, reform the existing higher teacher education; Second, enhance secondary schools cultivation of new teachers; Third, encourage novice teachers'self-improvement in their own mathematical development. The purpose of these responses is to promote novice mathematics teachers professional development and capacity so that novice teachers can rapidly grow into expert teachers, and make contributions to China's educational cause.
