The purpose of this study is to investigate the social adaptation degree of university students and examine the relationship between social adaptation and emotional regulation.313 university students answered social adaptation and emotion regulation questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis were used. The results showed that: (1) the quantity of positive emotion regulation were greater than negative emotional, happy and interested in the top and fear came in last (2) emotional adjustment and family economic conditions of sex differences in the experience of negative emotion, more women than men appear catharsis, increased use of more regulationFeelings of being in the mood, the girls appear more natural than the boys and girls on the mood of the natural adjustment significantly more than boys. Family income and family about 1,000 yuan in monthly income in 6000 over the students, in the regulation of negative emotions appear more inhibited. (3) social adaptation in gender, grade, family background, there are significant differences. Life satisfaction of women than men better, sophomore and large than three students to adapt to the satisfaction of the total is better than freshman and senior students, and students from rural areas in the self-evaluation and life satisfaction from the cityAnd rural college students. (4) Different Approaches of Emotion Regulation on different aspects of social adaptation predict different negative emotional neglect and the importance of the overall social adaptation are good predictors. Negative attention, negative nature, negative reasons, negative neglect, to learn to adapt to a certain prediction. Negative attention, negative nature, negative reasons, ignore the negative, negative weakening of the students who perceived a good prediction. Negative inhibition, negative attention, negative reasons, ignore the negative, negative interpersonal enhance students adapt to a certain prediction. In addition, the negative attention, negative enhancement, negative neglect the life satisfaction of college students have a good prediction.
