People's emotions and physical expressions have a certain degree of matching,such as when people feel sad,they tend to bow their heads,bend their backs,and happy will be upright.This is now explained by embodied emotions.The embodied emotional view holds that the emotional experience and the physical behavior are consistent,and it is an interactive process.The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of embodied emotion regulation on senior high school students' emotions.This experiment recruited 243 senior high school students in Tianjin.Film video clips were used as emotional elicitation materials.The effects of embodied emotional regulation on emotions were studied by designing an experiment between subjects with 2(emotional type:positive emotions,negative emotions)*3(body posture:bending,standing and comfort).The results showed that:(1)Analyzing the emotional state of three postures in different time periods,matching the baseline emotional score under positive emotions with the post-evoked emotional score by t-test,the results showed that there was significant difference between the baseline positive emotional score and the post-evoked emotional score;there was no significant difference betv,ween the baseline negative emotional score and the post-evoked emotional score.The results show that video materials are successful in eliciting positive emotions of senior high school students.We can further explore the influence of physical emotional regulation on emotions under positive emotions,but not on negative emotions.(2)Paired sample t-test was used to test the induced and manipulated emotions of each group of three postures under positive emotions.The results showed that there were sisnificant differences between the induced and manipulated emotional scores of bending postures,but no other postures.The results show that bending posture can affect the emotions of high school students under positive emotions,and bending posture can reduce the positive emotions of high school students.For negative emotions,although not induced successfully,paired sample t-test was used to test the induced and manipulated emotions of three croups of negative emotions in each group.The results showed that under the neeative emotions of senior high school students themselves,there were significant differences between the induced and manipulated emotions of upright posture;after the induced and manipulated emotions of bending posture,there were significant differences between the induced and manipulated emotions of senior high school students.There was significant difference in the comfort posture and there was no significant difference in the comfort posture.The results show that the upright posture and the bending posture can reduce the negative emotions of high school students,but the comfortable posture has no effect on the emotional changes of high school students.
