Marx once said:"people's nature is not its inherent abstraction of a single person. On reality, it is the sum of all the social relations." In the school which is called "micro-society" by Dewey, the relations between teachers and students are the core of students'social relations, and they are playing important role in their current and future development, especially for students in primary and middle school. Humanistic education experts Carl Rogers said relationships between the educators and the educated is the key to promote teaching. Former Soviet educators Bahkob think the sincere cooperation between teachers and students is to carry out teaching principle and express function of teaching methods. Although teacher-student relationship is so important for students, for teaching, at present in our country, teacher-student relationship in the education practice is not so harmonious, the contradictions and conflicts between teachers and students are continuous. This is thoughtful.This study will apply the sociological concept-social distance to search problems in the interpersonal relationship between teachers and students, aiming at reflecting the understanding and intimate degree between teachers and students. The study explores some problems in social distance between teachers and students. First, theoretically it demonstrates the rationality of the existence of social distance between teachers and students, the distance should not be "zero "; Second, methodologically it measures the social distance between teachers and students of a junior high school, using measuring tool from ministry of education, and on the basis of it, analyzing the influence factors to the social distance with SPSS data analyzing software; Third, according to the influence factors of social distance between teachers and students in junior high school, it puts forward Suggestions in teacher-student relationship to teachers, especially to head teachers. Exploring the influence factors to social distance between teachers and students in junior high school is the key of my study. The influence factors to social distance is analyzed in the study from student factors (including academic achievements, gender, grade, status and character), from teacher factors (including gender, character, teaching experience), from family factors (including parents'profession, parents'education, family type) such three aspects. Research shows that, in the student factors, student's academic achievement rankings, whether as class cadre, gender and all of the teacher factors play a significant impact. But students'grade, character, whether for one-child family and the family factors have no significant influence in social distance between teachers and students.
