In traditional Chinese culture,teacher-student relationship is based on the dignity of the teacher,emphasis on the gift,the authority of the teachers.But someone who loves his teacher believes in his word.The positive and healthy relationship between teachers and students can make the students have a positive attitude to the school,promoting them to play the initiative in the activities of the class and school,and helping them to short the distance between students and so on.So as to effectively cultivate the students' good personality,improve their ability to adapt to the society,and also have the effect on the teaching effect of the teachers.Rodgers,a humanistic educationist,believes that the key to promoting teaching is the interpersonal relationship between educator and educator.Zakov,a former Soviet educator,believes that sincere cooperation between teachers and students is an important prerequisite for implementing teaching principles and giving full play to teaching functions.Teacher-student relationship not only affects students' current development,but also has a far-reaching impact on their future growth.Junior high school students are in a critical period of physical and mental development.It is particularly important to have good teacher-student relationship.By consulting a large number of relevant information,the teachers' understanding of the relationship between teachers and students is mostly in the daily teaching level,and the theory and practice of understanding,grasping and dealing with the relationship is not deep.As to how to judge and measure the relationship between teachers and students,this study introduces a sociological concept-social distance,which is used to study the relationship in junior high school.The purpose of this study is to reflect the understanding and intimacy between teachers and students through the concept of social distance.This study mainly discusses two questions about the teachers-students social distance in the key middle school.First,the social distance of the teachers and students in three key junior high schools in Chongqing is measured with empirical research.The measurement tool is used by the education management information center of the Ministry of education in 11 th Five-Year,the key project "education information management evaluation system".In the "social distance assessment scale of students and students," and on this basis,the analysis of theinfluence factors of social distance between teachers and students of junior middle school students is carried out with data analysis software.Second,some suggestions are put forward to teachers,students and parents.The study's mian point is to explore the factors that affects teacher-student social distance in Chongqing's key middle schools.It selected three secondary schools,these are the Second Foreign Language School of Chongqing,the Secondary School of Southwestern University,and the Seventh Middle School of Chongqing.It totally distributed 200 questionnaires,184 valid questionnaires were valid,and the effective recovery rate was 92%.Descriptive statistics analysis of the survey data was conducted through SPSS20 software.According to the results of the investigation,the study can draw the following conclusions from teachers,students and families:(1)All three factors have different influence on the teacher-student social distance in key middle schools in Chongqing.(2)Teachers' gender,character,attitude and pressure have a significant impactall right in the relationship.(3)Among the student factors,grade,gender,grade ranking,and whether they serve as student cadres,all have obvious influence on the social distance.(4)As for family factors,the influential factors include the social status of parents(education,occupation,income)and teaching methods(autocratic,equal,indulgent type).According to the above factors,this study puts forward the following suggestions on the social distance between teachers and students in junior middle school:(1)Teachers should adjust their work status and pressure in combination with the specific situation of the class,take full consideration of students' differences and make specific communication,especially pay attention to several key factors,such as the second grade and the male students' gap.(2)Students should understand that the relationship with teachers is not the subject-object mould but promote each other.Then adjust the distance with their teachers,include seek help actively.(3)As parents,their attitude towards children will affect the teacher-student relationship,which is aslo usually identified as the "power" role.Parents should communicate with their children on an equal basis and try to provide enough safe environment for their children's growth.
