In theory, the curriculum standards should be the benchmark of the all aspects of the chemistry curriculum reform. And what is the real status and role of the chemistry curriculum standards in the process of chemistry course implementation? The papers make the "What-why-how to do" as main line organize and present the research content.Fisrstly, this paper use the tools of "SEC" to analyze the alignment between chemistry content standards and teaching content in the pocess of chemistry curriculum implementation in China (take the teaching of "elements chemistry" in Shanghai as example), the results can reflect the reality of chemistry curriculum reform, which is based on the chemistry curriculum standards, in our country.Secondly, we investigate some typical chemistry teachers from a district of Shanghai about their understanding and use of the chemistry curriculum standards, and find out some typical problems in using the curriculum standards of chemistry, and the major factors that affect the implementation of chemistry course. On this basis, papers do some further research on analysis of alignment between the chemistry content standards and the assessment content. From the results of the investigation, content of assessment is the most important factor that affects the implementation of chemistry curriculum, which is based on the standards. And we can find out the essential reasons, why the assessment can influence the alignment between chemistry content standards and teaching content.Lastly, the papers want to get some related research findings from literature research and expert interviews, with a view to provide a number of references to the amendment of the chemistry curriculum standards, professional development of chemistry teachers, as well as the smooth progress of chemistry curriculum reform from the respect of curriculum implementation.
