| Tai Chi Fan, emerged more than ten years ago, is a kind of Chinese nationed folk sports event added into Chinese traditional Tai Chi culture and some basic technigues of the fan performance. National sports culture was exhibited in order to apply for holding the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, which generated a great apportunity for its developments. With the help of the national Gymnastic Plan, carried on by the government, offerd a spavious platform for this event. Literrature review, guestionaire, and expert interview will be applied in this dissertation, which will put forward a series of research about the development of Tai Chi Fan sport in Bei Jing. It aims at studying the form process of the Chinese Fan culture and its steps as well as the differences between Taichi Fan and the other sports event. Studying results show that:From fan culture to a type of stage arts, mass daily life is the joint point of them the core strength that promote its development is the seven characteristics of Taichi Fan, which is also a epiteme that reflects the changes of aesthetic concept among the contemporary folk's mind. The choreography of Taichi Fan shows the prolonging and the promotion of Chinese Fan culture.it indicates that Chinese aesthetic culture is changing from the tradition to moderization, which the national condition, matches wich the urigweness of the age, the transitional period.
