In this paper,we choose XinHe area of HuaiYuan city as the site and women Christiansin rural place as the subjects to do a field work, during which we have made an investigation on the actuality of rural women in the Northern of Anhui province getting religion to Christian from the Cultural Anthropology point of view.The paper is used to supply an representative of Christian development currently in rural place and to reveal the futher reason why the majority of Christians are women in the level of culture;how women Christian in rural transform roles between their holy life and mundane life; how Christian have a collision with the folk life in rural in China. The paper also is used to find out the significance from the analysis about the ceremony of religion and the indicative symbol and the description of the ceremonial culture.Compare the positive influeces with the negetive ones on the development of Christian in the countryside and the underlying problems, in order to supply some valvable suggestions to help the development of Christian work in a. right way.In the first part, the paper introduces the current situation of development of Christian in the XinHe region and women Christians and describes the group identity of them.In the second part, the paper explains the rituals in the sacred life of the rural women. Ritual, which is a cultural phenomenon, takes an important part in the human religious life. The author explains the function and meaning of the specific behavior in the process of the ceremony in the overall cultural background. Through the strength of the rituals, these women Christians devote their eager of heart to God and keep off the social repression and conflict. Women Christians thank to the favor of God by means of the witness rituals and keep the whole life agreement with God. In fac(?), the witness and the devotion later both results from the consideration for interests. This paper also analyzes the self-education function, self-development function, home education function, relationships rebuilt function and promotion function of Christian localization of women Christians in the area. Due to the differences between individuals and the influence of traditional culture, there are potential problems existing in the development of Christian in the rural areas.In the third part, the paper analyzes the collision and merger of sacred life and secular life of the rural women are the majority of Christian. In the collision process of craditional festival ceremony, the belief to Christian of women Christians did not collide with the traditional festival ceremony drastically. In the funeral ceremony, women Christians have no choice but take a roundabout way to maintain their belief. For example, they have to join the ceremonies but they can choose not to fall down. The worship for the ancestor and the behavior of kneeling and burning paper money are necessary segments in the secular life. Yu, who is a perfect hero, has an enormous number of believer's Mountain God; he probably meets living needs of the local people which collide with the doctrine of Christian that removes the idol worship.At the end of the paper,according to the economical behavior that people have in XinHe area,the writer works out that women in rural area prefering to get rigion to Christan turning out a great difference, however, hoping the risks transformed and being saved and atoned from the sins are the common reason in a whole.Women Christians'behaviors shows the rooted ideology belonging to the smallholders. It is unexpected that the cultural conflicts between their holy life and mundance life are not distinct even turns out great comprehensive or so-called acceptable.On the other hand, because of the differences in each individual,whose function do to the development of Christian in rural china is less effective than group work of women fellowers.
