In the past 20 years, Christianity had a noticeable revival in China. And most believers are from the rural areas, especially the middle and old aged women in the rural areas. This phenomenon has drawn many scholars' attention and interests from different disciplines. Their researches have had great achievements. However, these studies are mainly the analysis of its status and causes. There is a shortage of studies from the angle of certain group. From the eye shot of middle and old aged rural women, this thesis focuses on how the rural women blended into Christianity and explores the problems that the middle and old aged women faced in the social change and their response strategy as well.The research object is a rural female Christianity group whose age is over forty years old in the Zhuhe town, Jianli County, and the research background is the conflict between tradition and modern times among the rural social change. The thesis analyses the first dada from field study and deeply discusses the group's belief attitude, constitutes, economy and culture life, expand pattern as well, combined with theories of sociology and feminism. Some conclusions can be summarized:First, female experienced radical transformation in the process of rural social change. Because of the out flow of adult labor, women gradually bear more family burden on their shoulders, which makes them pay more attention to outer world. The problem is rural community has not built relevant pubic system to support them.Second, because of the restriction of cognition, rural women are easier to seek religious help when they turn to public life. Christian activities meet their needs.Finally, religious life of Christianity blended in the women's daily life and community life, which brings them influence on both sides.
