Research On Creating Stage Performance Of Wushu

Wushu is extensive and profound. Its charm lies not only in its variety of techniques but the flavor of typical oriental culture. Along with the development of history, the update of times , the great rejuvenation of China, and the continuous improvement of national economy, people's spiritual and cultural needs are also increasing, thus the admiring value of Wushu is becoming increasingly prominent. Wushu has enriched people's cultural life, which at the same time has also brought great changes to its performance. As a specific form watched by people for entertainment, Wushu has gradually developed from the original performance in a square to that at the theater, forming a unique type of artistic performance which is greatly popular with the broad masses. What Wushu performance gives to people is more than a kind of spiritual pleasure, it also conveys unconsciously a positive, uplifting, and inspiring spirit to people. Besides, Wushu is diversified in form and unique in style, and the different schools of Wushu also have different characteristics, which is more obviously shown in the performance of Wushu.The technical contents, lighting, stage background, mise en scene, scene structure, the framework of the work's arrangement, music and many other elements of Wushu performance constitute a complete work of stage performance. Of modern stage performance, the most prominent is the integration of various elements such as dancing, music, scene and art , the use of high-tech devices and the changes of the stage scene . The stage of Wushu performance is one of the important means through which Wushu will be transmitted to the audience via visual effects. It can present people's rational thinking in a personalized way, attract the audience's attention in Wushu's beautiful artistic conception, deep cultural connotation and real feelings through the vivid scenes, move them, arouse their rich imagination, and lead them to a kind of art field that people enjoy very much and of the noble spiritual realm. Through literature study, induction, observation and logical analysis, this paper researches the stage performance of modern Wushu in an attempt to appreciate it from the angle of the combination of Wushu and art. It alo explains the formative factors and the classificaation of Wushu stage performance as well as how to compose the contents of such kind of performance, offering theoretical support for the playwright-director's composition of Wushu stage performance.
