Physics course is generally considered very difficult curriculum for students in high school. Even in senior three, the phenomenon still widely exists that students'learning methods and learning results are unsatisfactory, particularly insufficiency of students'ability in solving physics problems independently.It is important to cultivate the ability of students physics problem solving in high school, and the research on this subject has been of great significance.This article is based on modern instruction theory,whose aim is cultivating students'ability of problem solving. Tacticses of cultivating the ability of problem solving are proposed based on characteristics of physics course and senior three students,as well as on results of current situation of senior three students solving problems.The concrete tacticses include:1.cultive the ability of students'model thought;2.guide students to find the route of scientific problem solving;3.train students to master skills and means;4.cultive the ability of students'self-study.According to these tactics,the teaching plan and training course are made up by ourselves,as well as applied to experiment on all students with different levels.As a result of the experiment,significance test of differentce is also obtained. The result shows all the tactics are effective to improve the ability of problem solving of senior three students.In addition,because there exist some more difficalt problems in senior three physics study,which demand reasoning and mathematical operations the result of the research finds all trainings more effective to powerful students.
