Research On Personality Modernization Of University Students In The Process Of The Socialist Modernization

The history of human development is the pursuit of an ideal personality. The ideal personality must be in line with the social role expectations first of all because of its socialization attributes .The restructuring of our society puts forward new demands for the personality of native. The modernization of our country requires the new social idea of the personality education of the university students. Personality of university students has taken the step from the traditional to modern. However, student's personality crisis is becoming increasingly prominent because of no enough proper guidance. So it is the important issue and content of the university students ideological and political education that promoting the university students' personality modernization in the process of the socialist modernization under the Marxist theory of personality and borrowing the Western personality theory.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the definition of the core concepts and the explanation of the related theories. First it illustrates what are the personality and the modernization of the personality. Second it points out that this study is based on the Marxist concept of personality and borrowed Western personality theory. The second part is the reality analysis of the of university students' personality modernization in the process of the socialist modernization. Personality modernization of the university students is inevitable of the socialist modernization and the development of their own personality. At the same time the socialist modernization guaranteed the modernization of university students personality .The third part goes into deeply the objectives, principles and ways to the modernized personality of the university students in order to advancing the socialist modernization .
