Extracurricular athletics is a constituent part of physical and health education in vocational colleges, which could be a supplement to PE classes. However, for some reasons it doesn't produce an intended effect. The problems concerned with are: obsolete teaching patterns, boring PE content, teachers'feeble instruction. Therefore, it is urgent to innovate extracurricular athletics. As a result, we have entered into a completely new cyber society. Against this background, our college forms the extracurricular sports clubs as a main learning style; on the other hand, it utilizes popular, advanced and rich teaching resources to establish an extracurricular athletics network platform for students to guide their activity learning. In this way such problems in the sports clubs as shortage of teachers, lack of guidance and disorderly sports organization could be solved, so that more students are attracted to join the sports clubs and take part in sports events.。This thesis applies the methods of analysis, investigation and speculative logic. Firstly, a survey is made on the current situation of extracurricular sports clubs, colleges'network platform as well as online education in our country. On the basic of the survey, some cases are presented about how to build the extracurricular sports clubs and develop campus network platform according to the particular circumstances in our college. Experimental research work is conducted and it is proved that network platform is efficient in heightening the effect of vocational colleges'extracurricular athletics. It is the writer's wish to shade some light on solving insufficiency of faculty in the extracurricular sports clubs, arousing students'enthusiasm in physical training, promoting the Socialization of Sports and strengthening students'lifelong sports awareness.
