| In 1999, China began to develop the major of primary school teacher's education; however the U.S the elementary teacher's education in college was very popular in 1960s. The American elementary teacher's education program development has 40 years longer than which in China. What was the U.S had got but we don't have? Through the abroad study experience, compared the material, communication with both student teacher in S Normal University and Georgia State University, the researcher found that gaps between the two major in the two country is involved in the Educational Practice Course.In the first part of the paper, the researcher give the primary teacher's education, educational practice course, school experience definition one by one. Then analysis the research had been done recently in primary teacher's education and educational practice, the researcher found this has no research which combine the two areas. Therefore, the researcher made a detailed plan to do about the difference between the two county's early child educations programs in educational practice course.In the second part, the researcher follow the history line, do an analysis about what time the formal primary teacher's education came into being in the two countries; and what happened and developed in the following year until now.In the third part of the paper, the researcher compared the some major in the two countries, find the differences in aim of the program, and set different proportion of educational practice course among the whole project. Then the researcher forces on the comparison in the practice course, found the difference in the aim of the course in the two countries , the relation ship difference, the arrangement of the course, the content of the course, and so on.In the last part of the paper, the researcher follow the gap between the two major in the U.S and in China, give some suggestion to carry out the difficulties and problem. The researcher hopes to use this kind of advises to help the organism, which offer elementary school teacher's education, to improve the educational quality. |
