Since Reform And Opening-up Experience Of Ideological And Political Education

As the third plenary session of the11thCPC meeting began, our country hasentered the new period of reform and opening up. The great policy of reform andopening up has brought new energy to our country’s construction for socialism, got ridof poverty and backwardness of country, and improved people’s living condition.During the development of reform and opening up, our party’s ideological andpolitical education has played an important role in promoting socialist constructionfor modernization. In this paper, author absorbed and drew on the existing researchresults, made use of a large number of historical documents, guided by Marxism andthe basic law of Ideological and political education as the scientific basis. The authoralso studied and summed up the experience of the ideological and political education,which has great significance in cultivating talents.This paper, viewing from the special social background of reform and openingup and the social situation, summarized the experience of College Ideological andpolitical education into the four aspects. The first aspect is ensuring the correctorientation of Ideological and political education. Since reforming and opening up, inthe field of ideology there are a large number of Non-Marxism. Through the fightingagainst the non-Marxist, our Party consolidated the leading status of Marxism andguided in the development of university ideological and political education. It hasbecome one of the basic experience of ideological and political education inuniversitiesSecondly, with the deeper development of reform and opening up, the socialismmodernization has produced the new requirements for the university students. In orderto meet the new demands of the times, our party has paid attention to the theoreticaleducation. Insisting on using the latest theoretical achievements of Marxism for thestudents, Our party has promoted the construction of the Marxism and ideological andpolitical education in the universities. This is also one of the important experience ofUniversity’s ideological and political education.Again, our party has innovating the methods of University’s Ideological andpolitical education and has summing up experiences, so University’s Ideological andpolitical education can play a great role in social development. The experiencesinclude the combination of advancement and extension, the combination of one-wayand two-way dialogue, the combination of the solutions for ideological problems and for practical problems, and the combination of education and self-education, and soon.Finally, ideological and political education plays an important role constantly inConstruction of socialism with Chinese characteristics; because our party hasestablished a perfect system of leadership, theorial education, team construction andlong-effect mechanism. This is one of the basic experience of University’s ideologicaland political education.
