On The Ideological And Political Education In Yan'an Period And Its Implications On Contemporary Youth Education

Ideological and political work is the excellent tradition and political superiority of Chinese Communist Party. Yan'an Period is one of the most brilliant periods in the history of the Chinese Communist Party. The ideological and political education in Yan'an period was proved that played an enormous role in the education of the youth at that time. The contemporary youth which is regarded as the core element of the socialist modernization construction, will affect the success or failure of the Communist party's cause, national rejuvenation and the national development and social progress. Although the mainstream of ideological and political situation of contemporary youth is positively, healthy, and progressive due to the worldwide economic globalization, cultural diversity, information network and the effects of diversification, the contemporary youth also experiencing political beliefs, values, ideals and other aspects. Therefore, the youth ideological and political education during the Yan'an period is worth us to study and use for reference in today's new situation.Taking the tremendous role of the youth ideological and political education at that time in the work of ideological and political education as the breaking point, this paper firstly combs and studies the contents, characteristics, methods and values of the youth ideological and political education in Yan'an period systematically by analyzed the literature and investigation methods. Secondly, the characteristics of the contemporary youth's ideological and political are analyzed. Through the comparative analysis, compare the insufficient of the contemporary youth ideological and political education on this basis. Highlight the effect of the youth's ideological and political work on Yan'an period to reference its experience and find the best method to strengthen the work of the contemporary youth education from contents, methods and values.
