Inspirations Of Chen Duxiu’s Youth Education Thoughts On The Contemporary University Students’ Ideological And Political Education

Chen Duxiu, a famous modern Chinese statesman, thinker and revolutionist, who wasalso an outstanding educator. As a pioneer of the modern Chinese revolution, he paidattention to the growth of the younger generation with his own unique vision. In the May4thMovement period, Chen Duxiu thought that it was a guarantee for the success of Chineserevolution to model a new young generation. Therefore, he educated a young generation for apolitical outlook, the outlook on life, values, the outlook on quality, the scientific outlook andthe patriotic outlook. The problem of youth has always been the focus of the attention andresearch for many scholars. The university students are the most progressive groups in themodern youth. They are the future of our motherland and the nation’s hope. Today, thesociety is undergoing the profound transformation in our country. Therefore, thecontemporary university students’ ideological and political education, it is successful or not,not only is related to the growth of talent, the success or failure of the Chinese characteristicsocialist construction, but also is related to the national survival, the national strength and theprogress of the society. So, I believe that Chen Duxiu’s youth education thoughts have someimportant enlightenment for the contemporary university students’ ideological and politicaleducation.The subject contained four parts altogether.
