A Study Of Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities During Yan'an Period And Its Contemporary Enlightenment

Yan'an period is the maturity and development period of ideological and political education of the communist party of China,which the ideological and political education in colleges and universities has made significant achievements.This paper takes the historical background,main contents,methods,experiences,functions and insufficiencies of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period as the logical clue.Through analysis and exploration of this period about the ideological and political education in colleges and universities to develop Yan'an spirit,to strengthen and improve ideological education work.First chapter is about the historical background of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period,which mainly includes the necessity and possibility two aspects.The former contains the specific analysis of the complex situation at home and abroad,the uniqueness of geographical location,the necessity of achievement strategic goals and innovation personnel training mode,the basic characteristics of intellectuals.The latter contains the accumulated experience and lesson,understanding of our party's toward young intellectuals,etc.The second chapter is the main contents of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period,which are from combination of learning Marxism-Leninism and knowing current affairs,science curriculum and comprehensive teaching contents,freedom and democracy with discipline,etc.Third chapter is the main methods of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period,mainly through the combination of theoretical education and practical education,combining the dominant education and recessive education,model demonstration and negative education,collective teaching and individual coaching and heuristic,inspired discussion and the research method,in order to make in-depth analysis on this issue.The fourth chapter is the evaluation of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period.The experiences are detailed ineducation work around the party center,sound political work,outstanding teachers,flexible and varied test methods.The historical effects are mainly from summarizing enriching and developing Marxism theory system and laying a solid foundation for winning the victory of the war.However,the deficiency is explained by the lack of coherence in ideological and political education courses and the emergence of subjectivism in ideological and political education courses.The fifth chapter is the contemporary enlightenment of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities during Yan'an period,including the concepts,contents,methods,in order to put forward constructive suggestions toward the current ideological and political work of education in universities.In short,Yan'an period is one of the most effective period for our party to carry out the ideological and political education work.It not only cultivated a large number of high-quality anti-japanese soldiers,but also opened a new era for the ideological and political education in universities.By studying the ideological and political education of universities in this period,we can learn from the experience of predecessors and try to create a new situation of political and ideological education of universities in the new period.
