Mr. Wang Furen holds a literature educationa conception of scientificity, rationality and novelty. Like a spring breeze, his conception refreshes the field of the all-round education in Chinese literature and language and provides a platform for us to reconsider literature and its education from a higher level. As a well-known enlightening scholar, Mr. Wang Furen advances plenty of independent and profound understandings about literature education, which are thought-provoking, enlightening and instructive. The conclusion of Mr. Wang's literature education conception and the publicity of his literature education ideology can further promote Chinese literature and language education reform, and can, in the course of changing the status quo of the present literature education in primary and middle schools, better help literary sources nourish students'internal development, enlighten students'wisdom, permeate students'lives and upgrade their ideological realms.Goaded on by the college entrance exam, most high schools are currently enthralled with preparations for college, so that the teaching of all the subjects is aimed at helping students go on for higher education, and thus it is not uncommon to focus unilaterally on information indoctrination and skill training. Although Mr. Wang's rational, original and brilliant literature education thinking is sporadically read in many of his essays, just a few lines reflects his blunt rebuke and timely enlightenment from a commanding height of education. He voices a viewpoint that no one in the circle of Chinese literature and language education dares to think about or can never think of and hence we rejoice to experience profoundly the lightening, thundering and raging waves pound on the dams of literature education. For a long time, owing to different reasons, the neglect of teachers' and students' life states and quality of life is severe. To a large degree, the process of students' education has turned into one in which students' personality is being more and more dissociated and humanity more and more materialized. Education is no longer the enlightenment of wisdom and manifestation of individuality, but has metamorphosed into information indoctrination and life inhibition. All are for tests, and this has become the ground for education, which makes education too test-taking, and to an actual extent only a pre-exam training. Because of this, both teachers and students lose their own egos. This ego-losing phenomenon is especially conspicuous in Chinese literature and language education. As a matter of fact, the Chinese literature and language education should be the subject that can best express psyche and inspiration, best manifest esthetic value, best upgrade quality of life and best reveal humanistic concerns. However, in traditional Chinese teaching, because of the constant blind emphases upon linguistic drills and the instrumental values, its life essence, cultural connotation and humanistic spirit have mostly lost.Today, science and technology, rationalism and technicism dominate, literature education goes farther from our childlike innocence. As Mencius said, "A true man should be one that never loses his innocence!" Those who always have childlike innocence are truly human, are true men and ones our literature education should be dedicated to fostering. Mr. Wang Furen's educational thinking of placing children in the first place puts new life into literature education and creates new space for speculation. In his view, emotion is the most poetic, most romantic, most profound, and most creative section in human psychological level. Without analyses and prehension of affective logic on literature, esthetic interest loses its own roots, just like what Goethe said, "Experienced readers read with two eyes, one on the words, the other between lines." Those between lines can only be understood by a tender and sensitive mind. Therefore, it's our duty to guide our students to have concerns for society, living and life, to have a strong sense of mission and social responsibility and to be compassionate and sympathetic. Only in this way can our students fully understand what is in literature works. Only by putting our whole heart into the Chinese language learning, can we enjoy the pleasure inside and find it striking and inviting.
