The Research Of Learning Management System Based On Public Service System Of Distance Education

In order to take advantages of information technology fully, and promote the integration and sharing of quality resources, as well as speed up the life-long learning system and the ultimate completion of a learning society. Ministry of Education launched the E-learning Construction reform project, especially focus on supporting for the Distance Education in Public Service System. Distance Education Public Service System is a special public management platform for education institutions, providing supports for teaching resources and student management. At present, the socialization of national tele-education system has been bulit up, more and more educational entities have involved in, and more and more reseaches about this system have been carried out.As one of the most important sub-projects of the public service system, Distance Learning Management System has been more and more applicated. Its founctions includes providing enrollment management, student status management, examination management, performance management information release and so on for distance education institutions. It supports a lot of teaching service for many colleges, many distance education learning center under a based system. In adddition, to provide adequate learning supports for remote learners and ensure the progress of Distance Education. So it occupies a very important position throughout the normal operation of public service system.Refered to OEMS, LMS(DEE), CCLS based on Public Service System of distance education, and combined with the experience of the author in the platform design, development and teaching management when worked in the Service Support Center of Zhi Jin Education. This text describes the implementation process of the EPS system. Fistly introduces the theoretical basis of the system design and development icluding interactive control theory, constructivist learning theory, instructional design theory and the theory of distance learning, etc. Secondly introduces the dvelopment system technology, such as mixed-mode Based on C/S and B/S, high-level language of PHP, MySQL database technology, and server technology of Apache. Then analyzes the system function module design and system database design, and finally carries out the composition of modules and interfaces. Furthermore, raises the outlook of the EPS syestem.EPS system provides a convenient platform for Zhi Jin Public Service System. The system has many advantages, such as user-friendly, simple and easy to use, stable operation and so on. Using this system, network education, service support center, learning center, students can share the information resource. It realizes the modernization of teaching management process and standardization the management, effectively improves the teaching efficiency and accuracy of management.Contrary to the philosophy of paltform design and the inadequatence of the the actual needs of teaching about the distance Education Public Service System, this paper propses a number of strategic proposals and prospects, in order to make some contribution to the distant teaching support services and to enrich and improve the basic theories related to distance education.
