When the social and school attention was paid on professional development of teachers, people focused on how teachers should be developed to expert teachers, but ignored the effects of intrinsic motivation of teachers on professional development of teachers, such as the intrinsic requirement of teachers on professional development, the attitudes of teachers to professional development of teachers and so on. Therefore, the intrinsic motivations of teachers'professional development through different dimensions were analyzed with the comparative study of four elementary school teachers to unscramble intrinsic motivation of elementary school teachers' professional development.The professional development of elementary school teachers was studied comparatively to unscramble intrinsic motivation of elementary school teachers' professional development and analyze the structures, role of conditions and processes of intrinsic motivation of elementary school teachers' professional development with the methods of documentary analysis and survey study in this paper. The main text was divided into five sections. The introduction of status of related study at home and abroad, the discoverments of problem and the definition of study object were stated in the first section. The connotation of intrinsic motivation of teachers' professional development was analyzed to establish the theoretical basis for the case investigation in the back sections in the second part. The investigation of professional development of teachers was carried out through presenting stories of the professional development of four teachers and the motivation of their professional development was comparatively analyzed with three dimensions in the third section. The intrinsic motivation of teachers' professional development which included the structures, role of conditions and processes of intrinsic motivation of teachers' professional development were unscrambled in the fourth part. The statement of conclusion was the fifth part of the paper.The conclusion of the study is that intrinsic motivations of teachers'professional development was the teachers'attitude towards the professional development which was decided by teachers'personalities and decided their specific actions.
