The education in the times of knowledge economy needs skilled and experienced teachers. It is based on teacher's individual professional competence development to bring up first-class teaching teams.Since 1980s, teacher's profession development, after 20 years research and practice, has become a subject that all educationalists over the world pay much attention to and also it is the mainstream in education innovation nowadays. Now, the theorists have deeply researched the different connotations, influencing factor, developing mode and developing phase of teacher's professional competence development. They especially pay attention to make the new teacher become a competent teacher in teaching work as quickly as possible by researching teacher's professional competence development.In the daily education practice, we find that, besides our focus to the professional development of newly come teachers, great attention is drawn to the professional development of core teachers, who have abundant teaching experiences and opinions, and have the ability to undertake the fundamental teaching works in schools. The survey reveals that, in Chengdu Experimental Primary School, a few young teaches become the core members in school after several years'furnace. However, for those core teachers who have already obtained some achievement, the effect of their self-developments can not be comparable to the prospective effect of those young teachers. some teachers turn into leaders and thus fail to give attention to education works. Some teachers assume supererogatory tasks and seldom reappear in the front line of education. some teachers, due to honor and terrible pressure, suffer from profession ennui. Some teachers, in order to defend reputation and avoid making mistakes, become conservative and complacent, and become the obstacles to the educational renovation,Obviously, some lagging factors in the circumstance confine the core teachers'specialty development, which is not beneficial to the implementation of new curriculum reform. Under the new curriculum background, the present paper probes the teachers'specialty development in Chengdu Experimental Primary School, investigates and analyzes the developing course of core teachers, and explores the subjective and objective elements for their developments, with an attempt to grasp their development rules and traits, and seek the effective approaches of cultivating core teachers into expert teachers. |
