In the process of aging in China, due to historical, social, and cultural factors, most elderly people in bad health state, low education, low income, disadvantaged families and low social status. In addition to dual structure of urban and rural areas in China resulted in the elderly population do not have internal consistency, rural elderly people are more vulnerable. Attention to our elderly population in rural, researching in plight of pension which the elderly in rural areas are facing, and take efforts to improve and enhance their quality of life, is the key to solve issues concerning "agriculture, countryside and farmers", to build a new socialist countryside and to practise scientific outlook on development.This research bases on the objective reality of pension plight which rural elderly are facing in Zhengzhou and Luohe in Henan province, from the economic conditions, life care and spiritual comfort for the three basic dimension of pension to start. Base on empirical research, apply gender perspective to examine and consider, analyse existing problems of dimension of supporting the family, rural community and government. Then in contrast to the problem author has developed a chapter to analyse the cause of the elderly pension plight. Author propose to the idea of solving pension problem from start to change the rules of father-right, to explore the pension mode of multi-tiered and multi-pattern which is adapt to China's rural development and be integrated by family community and society, open an improvement of rural elderly living conditions of the new sovereign power. Author also hopes that this research can fill gaps of the current study of rural elderly pension problems. Cause concern and attention in rural elderly by the government and society, and to provide reference and learning for social policies and actions which may be adopt in the future.
