Now, it is a major period of important strategic opportunities in Chinese modernization drive in which entrepreneurial activities have more and more become the source of economic vitality, even the Report to the 17th National Congress of the Party puts forward the developing strategy "to stimulate and expand employment by encouraging business startup". University, as a social organization which takes seriously responsibility for knowledge dissemination and talents training, should meet the needs of entrepreneurial creative talents in the background of entrepreneurial economy. So promoting entrepreneurship education is especially significant in colleges and universities in this important historical stage. Foreign experts and scholars had already raised the question of enterprise education, as early as the report "learn to exist" stated that entrepreneurial qualities should be the basic quality of citizen in 1972 by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization [UNESCO].The research in our country started relatively late from the early 1990s. And it hasn't been extensively studied, nor earned widespread respect from domestic scholars.This paper consists of four parts centering on this theme of university students' Entrepreneurship Education. First of all, it summarized the current status of oversea and domestic and research, after introducing the background and significance of the study, and then briefly described the main contents and methods of this article. Secondly, we discussed the connotation of entrepreneurship education, analyzed the relationship between innovation education and quality education, and elaborated the significance of Entrepreneurship Education. Thirdly, it presented a general review of the current research status of Entrepreneurship Education. The development course of Entrepreneurship Education is divided into an "embryonic" stage, an elementary stage, and the development stage. We listed the characteristic entrepreneurship educational patterns in five universities, and analyzed the characteristics of each. On this basis, together with our results of questionnaire survey, we pointed out some existing problems and shortcomings in the current entrepreneurship education:some extant misunderstandings in entrepreneurship education; the improper curriculum provision; the deficient execution system; Lack of the qualified teachers; entrepreneurship educational appraisement system has not been established yet. At last, this paper proposed some relevant measures to optimize the entrepreneurship education quality: to establish scientific concept of entrepreneurship education; to develop the advanced entrepreneurial culture in universities; to form the reasonable teaching system of entrepreneurship education; to create a favorable support system of entrepreneurship education; to construct a perfect quality evaluation system of entrepreneurship education.The study of undergraduate entrepreneurship education is an entirely new topic of higher education, and it is also an inevitable requirement for practice of scientific thought of development. We should continue to research and explore this topic in order to improve students'theoretical level and practice ability. It not only can cope with the great employment pressure to carry out the widespread and effective entrepreneurship education research in colleges and universities, but also has a far-reaching significance in building of an innovation-oriented country.
