Innovation and entrepreneurship are the essential elements which constitute the national strategy of “innovation-driven development”.Moreover,it has created the“New Normal” of mass entrepreneurship and innovation since Premier Li Keqiang launched the program publicly in the summer Davos Forum 2014.Entrepreneurship can not only improve the efficiency of market economy through innovation,but also can relieve the employment pressure of undergraduates by providing more jobs.It is the entrepreneurial behavior of undergraduates which had drawn vigorous attention by researchers in recent years.Yet,how to educate the college students to enhance their entrepreneurship ability more effectively was still an unsolved problem in the Chinese context.In this paper,we targeted on the students who were from the top universities of China,and we explored the mechanism of how entrepreneurial education affects the intention through theoretical analysis and empirical method.For the theoretical part,we divided the traditional entrepreneurial education patterns into two aspects,that is lecture education and practice education,thus makes our research differ to the traditional way.Based on the theoretical deduction,we proposed three main hypotheses.For the empirical part,we investigated the students who had participated in the “China College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition in 2016(CCSEC2016)” and obtained 205 valid samples.Based on the analysis of samples,our findings are given as follows: first,entrepreneurship curriculum education and entrepreneurship practice education both significantly positive affect entrepreneurship intention;second,entrepreneurship curriculums education and entrepreneurship practice education significantly positive affect entrepreneurship self-efficiency;finally,entrepreneurship self-efficiency partially mediates the effects of entrepreneurship education to entrepreneurship intention.At the end of this paper,we integrated the existing entrepreneurship education patterns in Chinese leading universities with our findings and put forward the following suggestions.First,the top universities of China should improve and implement entrepreneurship curriculum education and enrich the entrepreneurship learning forms of undergraduates.Second the universities should launch entrepreneurship activities to improve students' entrepreneurship ability.Finally,universities should switch entrepreneurship education pattern which emphasizes the combination of curriculum and practice.
